It's been awhile...

I've been pretty busy working both my jobs, riding, updating pfg, trying to improve my riding/photo skills that i've neglected this blog. Which kinda sucks... I kinda suck. I've been super frustrated with my thrasher giving me problems and tire clearance. But crimping the frame seemed to help. I ended up buying a new Leader Mordecai which let's hope once fully assembled I'll be happy with but who fucking knows... I just want my destroy frame....

updates

so I'm finally done getting my fork ready to ship back to volume.
i'm hopefully gonna have that shit shipped off by tomorrow...
also I yesterday while outside my house I was practicing some new tricks.
don't have this down yet but almost. just need to get a little stronger to pull the bike up with 1 arm but it's close...
it's a fakie keo 1 handed. after the first 180 it's a 2 handed keo. turbo spin that shit and after about the 1st 360 take on hand off while you and the bike are verticle and grab the front wheel over the bars and spin. my goal is so spin without my other arm on the bars but it's gonna take a while for sure...
once I get them down I'll try and film it. I also want to throw a barspin in there too when I get a new fork n stuff...

oh and for origami's sake i didn't flick it but I did a little star design, it's called Pochi Bukuro 1
it looks alright but I used white/purple & on theoppo. side its white. Very hard to tell the design. I really wasn't thinking before I started but whatever that's another one down.

Origami?

So i've always loved origami for the longest time. I've been doing it since who know's how long. So since I don't update the blog with photos/info as often as I'd like I decided i'd do this.
I'll create a new piece of origami everyday. or every other day as best as I possibly can. So today's first one is this.

A heart with wings. Pretty easy took me a couple mins to complete.

Finally helped Haley get rid of her bigass couch for a smaller little love seat.
We also rearranged her room and cleaned up a little. Kenny also hooked it up with a sweet mini fridge and we just have to finish cleaning it. I'm pretty pumped!
Today myself, Josh, Haley, and Colin all hung out and got J&J's Hawaiian BBQ and holy shit. I fucking died. I ate soo much food. We got to Josh's and I yakked everywhere. Well in his bathroom. We ate around 1ish and I haven't eaten anything since then. Holy shit...

Now for a quick update
So from Valentines day weekend
Sat. got my bike together and packed shit up and drove to San Jose with Haley, Scott, and Kelsey. Saw a ton of friends and entered the trick comp. It was a blast and I landed a majority of the tricks I've been working on. Though myself or Dongho didn't place I felt we did the best besides taylor whom is on a totally diff level.
Hung out with Alex, Rosie, and Jackie and had pizza that night. Then went home.

Valentines day Haley and I went and had lunch, took a fatass nap and had to dog sit that weekend. It was cool but the house we stayed at was super creepy. We then had dinner with my sister at DQ and my cousin hooked it up fat with ice cream. All in all was a good day.

Monday went to SF with Colin, Kenny, and Xavier. As we got on the train we see Patrick getting off to head to work and we clowned him a little for not going riding with us but hey he didn't have much choice haha. We get to SF and ride a couple spots. I fell a few times and landed a couple cool tricks. Then headed to the Island to meet up with Alex and this rad dude named James was there also. We head to In and Out and ditch Alex (lunchbox Northbayfixed) and he calls me 10 mins later saying he's snapped his Chainring bolt on his bmx cranks. We couldnt do much for him but tow his ass 4 miles down embarcadeo to his car! Fuck that shit! We all piled in his car and drove to San Jose. We met up at I-D and kicked it with all the Sjf dudes. Me and X went to City hall to ride while Alex fixed his shit. While there we rode with a bunch of kids and I was bunny hopping up this 3ft ledge and then 180ing off it. Landed it 5 times 1st try and when I did the 6th one I snapped my down tube near the head tube. I was soooo pised. So I'm trying to put the pista back together and rock 28c tires! whoo hoo. FML. Well we then went to Kennys and hung out and all got pizza. Then I came home and that's bout it. Should have a edit from the two days up soon whenever kenny finishes it.
Well if anyone out there reads all this and you have lots of extra income that's not being used and you feel like being a hero in my eyes. Sponser me or hook me up with a 54cm Gorilla Kilroy. I promise you your money will be well spent and I will throw down tricks like no tomorrow... Sounds dumb but I know I can achieve my next level of potential with a bike like that...

It's been a while here's shit that's been happening
- lots of band practice. recording in less than a month
- trying to go big on my bike and get some footy compiled.
- 180d a 6 stair at stanford
- need to find a new job in the mornings
- need to fill out my fucking transfer
- need to get some prints done
- Mike's making me a new custom rolltop bag as well as new FRS
- Will be going out to SJ's trick comp next weekend as well as Fremont's the weekend after.
-Watched Toxic Avenger, Whip It, and will proably watch Zombieland and Daybreakers by the end of this weekend.

so I just started work again in the lab.
It's pretty awesome but hard work. we have roughly 25 to 30 new students and only 4 of them being returning advanced students. We're running low on chemicals too and I don't think were getting any in the near future. Also keep getting flats. I also landed a super clean 180 into a bank at the skatepark straight into a slider. Also had to hear all this stupid ass bullshit from Josh B. about how I'm not going anywhere riding fixed. That's ok. No reason to argue with him I guess. As long as I'm having fun. Could care less about foolish fools. Also got some feeble grinds down on some of the ledges. I'm also waiting for Mike B. (intothemecha) to heal up so we can ride! He's also working on some new foot retention straps for me to destroy for some good ole PR&D. Will post them once I get a pair when he starts sewing some up. Should be here next week when I go ride with him tuesday.
I also got a new front tire today since my old one tore through at Marcus house during band practice. I guess Rob and the others said my 180's got way higher but today they really didn't seem or feel like it. Maybe tomorrow after I'm done skating with Josh and X I can work on them.

Scott, Robert and I went up to SF a while back and Chris Fonseca filmed us all.
Coolest part of this is I ended up being the screen shot.
A few tricks I did that didn't get filmed were the hop bar I landed off the ledge that shows me fall. I did it once on my bike and then 1st try on Chris's Vol. Thrasher. Also landed a bunch of 180s and slider 2 3 taps. All in all after cracking my conversion more and getting two flats it was a good day.

Took 2nd place at the Sacramento 5 Stop Scally Cat Trick Comp
Taylor Dwight from P.A. who I drove up with took 1st. (he's so damn good now)
Finally learned 180 sliders along with some other cool stuff
Built up a shitty blue road frame as a fixed polo bike w/ ductape disc
Have seriously popped like 8 tubes in the past 2 weeks.
Rode with Xavier and Mike B. (IntoTheMechaBags) and tricked it up around Stanford

Life hasn't seemed to be going anywhere. Ya i've learned some new tricks and made some new riding friends but... Life seems so dull. I need to take that leap. Get out and experience something new and outta the ordinary. I want to go back to school really bad. I want to be something. It feels like I'm just settleing. I dont want that.

Finally done!!!!

So last night was our B&W photo final at school. I helped all the students mat they're final prints and we all chatted it up, ate food, and had a grand old time. After all the students went home I talked to Jerry (my photo teacher whom I T.A. for) and he told me that I did a great job being his T.A. this semester and wants me back again for next semester. After hearing this I got so pumped! It made my whole evening. Not only that but I had time to make it down to Polo with all the homies.

I went and picked up Haley and the bikes. I had a slow leak in my front wheel so I pumped it up and it held for the rest of the night. We got there about an hour an a half after they started and by far there were so many people there. A lot of station heads who don't ride fixed but ride beefy ass MTB's were playing polo with us. It was legit! We had enough to play 5 on 5. So many crashes. So much bullshit. So much fun.
I made the 1st goal as well as the 2nd goal but we lost 3 to 5. It was super fun and next time the team i'm on will win. I also landed a bunch of 3 taps and slider 3 taps. I also landed a slider 3 tap wheelie into a 180 but it was super sketchy.

Also my frame has been cracking and my top tube is warped and cracked. So is my seat brake stay as well as other things. Rear wheel has a hop and is untrue, front wheel untrue, fork loose, BB axel slightly bent, cranks creaking, seat busted as fuck... left grip falling off FUCK!!! I need a Gorilla or a fucking Thrasher.
Enough ranting. I gotta get the photos from my bag up here to send to mike. I'll also take a few flicks of the dents in my frame too...
